On any amp setting (UAD Marshall, UAD ENGL, etc.) that is dirty, or fuzzy using Raw (a RAT clone), I am getting a lot of buzz/hum (I dunno which is which). I'm double tracking with an Apollo with Unison plugins and clean at the same time. I am going through a Neve RNDI direct box, which adds an extra touch of clarity.
And also doubling the vocal line in the choruses with a lower-pitched fuzz guitar really works for my songs.īut it's the jangly, chime-y sound that's my go-to and my new Casino Sunburst seems great at this so far.
